Kahvaltı on Arab Street
Turkish Breakfast in Singapore: Kahvaltı at Anatolia, Arab Street
Kahvaltı means "before coffee" in Turkish. It is not a single dish. It is a table covered in small plates: white cheese, olives, eggs, honey with kaymak, preserves, fresh vegetables, warm bread and Turkish tea. Everything arrives at once, and everyone shares.
We have been serving this spread at 58 Arab Street since day one. Walk in any morning from 10am.

The spread
What is on the table: S$21.25
Our Turkish Breakfast platter (regular S$25.00, currently S$21.25) covers nine items: beyaz peynir (white cheese, brined and crumbly), kaşar cheese (semi-hard, sliced thin), black and green olives, eggs (menemen scrambled with tomato and pepper, or served plain), honey with kaymak (clotted cream paired with raw honey), jam and preserves (house selection, changes with season), sliced tomato and cucumber, warm freshly baked bread, and Turkish tea served in a tulip glass with unlimited refills.
That is nine components on one table. No picking from a menu. No waiting between courses. Everything lands together, and you work through it at your own pace.
Add-ons
Add to your breakfast table
The platter stands on its own, but regulars tend to order one or two extras. Cheese Za'atar Bread works well for scooping honey and cheese. Cheese Pide is Turkish flatbread filled with melted cheese, cut into strips. Börek (S$15.21) is flaky pastry stuffed with cheese and herbs. Za'atar Bread (S$16.91) comes with the herb blend and olive oil. Fresh juices are available in orange, pomegranate, or mixed.
Why here
Why people order kahvaltı here
Singapore has brunch spots on every corner. Most of them give you one plate and a coffee. Turkish breakfast works differently. It is a table full of small dishes, meant to be shared, meant to take your time with. You tear bread, dip it in honey and kaymak, chase it with salty cheese and olives, sip tea, and keep going until everything is gone.
There are not many places in Singapore doing this properly. We know because we have been here long enough to watch other spots try and stop. Kahvaltı takes prep. Every component has to be ready before the table is set. That is the whole point. It all arrives at once.
