Sunday 11 October, 8:00 PM. Our kitchen runs until midnight.

Charcoal grill cooking halal Turkish kebabs late at night at Anatolia Restaurant on Arab Street, Singapore

The Grand Prix finishes somewhere around 10pm on Sunday 11 October. Sixty-two laps, then the podium, then ninety-odd thousand people all deciding to leave Marina Bay at the same moment.

And here is the part nobody plans for. You have been standing for six hours. You have eaten one overpriced wrap since lunch. It is now 10:40pm, you want actual food, and about half the halal kitchens in the city centre have already called last orders.

We are seven minutes from Bugis MRT and we cook until midnight. That is the whole pitch. The rest of this page is the logistics.

The 2026 Singapore Grand Prix schedule, so you can plan your dinner around it

This is a Sprint weekend, which means Friday and Saturday both carry proper sessions instead of just practice. More track time, longer days, and three separate nights where you finish late and hungry rather than one.

Day Session Start (SGT) You will be eating around
Friday 9 Oct Practice 1 4:30 PM Pre-session, from 3pm
Friday 9 Oct Sprint Qualifying 8:30 PM After 9:15pm
Saturday 10 Oct Sprint 5:00 PM Between sessions, 6pm to 8pm
Saturday 10 Oct Qualifying 9:00 PM After 10pm
Sunday 11 Oct Grand Prix 8:00 PM After 10:15pm
Monday 12 Oct Recovery All day Whenever you wake up

Saturday is the easy one. The Sprint ends by 5:30pm and Qualifying does not start until 9pm, so you get a clean three-hour gap to sit down and eat properly. Sunday is the tight one.

Why the hour after the race is the hardest time in Singapore to find halal food

Let's break it down honestly, because this is a real problem and not a marketing line.

Trackside food inside the circuit stops serving well before the gates close. The restaurants ringing Marina Bay are either fully booked weeks out or running a fixed race-night menu at race-night prices. Hawker centres in the CBD mostly wind down by 9pm. And if you need certified halal specifically, the list that is still cooking at 11pm on a Sunday gets short very fast.

Our kitchen closes at midnight, every single day, no seasonal exceptions. On Sunday 11 October that gives you a window of roughly 10:45pm to 11:30pm to walk in, order, and eat without anyone rushing you. Tight, but it works, and it is a genuine window rather than a technically-open-but-kitchen-closed situation.

One honest caveat. Our charcoal grills take time, because that is what charcoal does. If you arrive at 11:20pm, order cold mezze and fresh bread first so food hits your table in minutes while the grill works.

Walking route from Bugis MRT Exit B to Anatolia Restaurant at 58 Arab Street, seven minutes on foot

Getting from the circuit to Arab Street in about fifteen minutes

This is the bit the other F1 food guides skip, and it is the only bit that actually matters at 10:45pm when every taxi app is surging.

Do not book a car. Road closures around Marina Bay stay in force well after the race and you will sit still while watching the fare climb. Take the train.

Walk to Downtown station or Bayfront, both on the Downtown Line. Ride two stops to Bugis. Leave by Exit B, walk up Victoria Street, turn into Arab Street, and we are at number 58 with the Sultan Mosque behind us. Seven minutes on foot, air-conditioned for most of the journey, no surge pricing.

Worth knowing: trains stop running earlier than people expect on big event nights, and extra services get added for race weekend. Check the last train from Bugis back to wherever you are staying before you sit down, not after.

What to order when you have been on your feet since six

You want protein, salt, and something cold. Not a tasting menu. Here is what we would put in front of you.

If you have forty minutes and want the full thing

The Testi Kebab is lamb, capsicum, carrot and potato slow-cooked inside a sealed clay pot, and it comes to your table on fire before someone cracks the pot open at your seat. It is built for two people and currently $67.06. If you spent the evening watching sparks come off the underside of a car at 300kph, there is a certain logic to finishing the night this way.

If you want charcoal and you want it fast

Straight to the Turkish grills. Adana Lamb at $29.66 is minced lamb pressed onto a skewer and cooked over open flame, properly spiced, and it travels from grill to table quickly. Lamb Chop at $38.16 if you want something you can take your time with. The best sellers list is where most people land.

If someone in your group is fading and needs food immediately

Mezza Platter, $39.87, hummus and babaganoush and the rest of it with warm flatbread. Nothing waits on a grill. Order this the second you sit down and the table stops being hungry while the mains cook. Full range on the cold appetizers and hot appetizers pages.

If you just want something in your hand

Shawarma wraps and rolls. Quick, portable, and the thing to order if you are catching a late train.

To drink

Ayran, the salted yogurt drink. It sounds strange if you have not had it and it is the correct answer after six hours in Singapore humidity. Everything else is on the drinks list.

Race week offer: 20% off your bill plus a free Kunafa

From Friday 9 October through Monday 12 October, mention this page when you order and you get 20% off your total bill and a complimentary Kunafa for the table.

If Kunafa is new to you: shredded kataifi pastry baked until the top goes properly crisp, mild melting cheese through the middle, hot sugar syrup poured over, usually with ice cream on the side so you get the hot-and-cold thing happening at once. It is the dessert people come back for. The rest of the dessert menu is there if you want to add to it.

Two things to know. The discount applies to your food and drink bill, and one Kunafa comes per table rather than per person. We hold reserved tables for fifteen minutes past the booking time, which on race weekend we do have to actually enforce, so message us if you are running behind and we will work it out.

To book: WhatsApp +65 8227 7270 or use the reservation page.

Monday 12 October, the day nobody plans for

Three nights of noise, late finishes and a lot of walking. Monday is going to hurt.

We are open from 10am, which is early enough that a Turkish breakfast is a real option before you face the day. Eggs, cheeses, olives, tomato, cucumber, warm bread, endless tea. It is a slow meal by design and it is the correct way to deal with a Monday like that.

If you sleep through breakfast, the offer still runs all day Monday. Come in whenever. Kampong Glam on the Monday after the race is quiet in a way it never is otherwise, which is half the appeal.

Questions people actually ask us during race week

What time does the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix finish?

The race starts at 8:00 PM on Sunday 11 October and runs 62 laps or a two-hour maximum, so expect it to end around 10:00 PM. Add fifteen to thirty minutes to get clear of the crowds.

Is there halal food near the F1 Singapore circuit that stays open late?

Yes. Anatolia at 58 Arab Street is a fully halal Turkish and Lebanese kitchen open until midnight every day, roughly fifteen minutes from the circuit by train. Marina Bay itself has halal options but most stop serving well before midnight.

How do I get from the F1 circuit to Arab Street?

Walk to Downtown or Bayfront station, take the Downtown Line two stops to Bugis, exit at B. Arab Street is a seven minute walk. Avoid taxis and ride-hailing because road closures stay active after the race.

Do I need a reservation during F1 weekend?

Strongly recommended, especially Saturday and Sunday evening. WhatsApp +65 8227 7270. Walk-ins are welcome but you may wait.

How does the 20% off plus free Kunafa offer work?

Mention this blog post when you order, any day from 9 to 12 October 2026. You get 20% off the total food and drink bill plus one complimentary Kunafa per table.

Is Anatolia halal certified?

The kitchen is 100% halal. More detail on our halal restaurant page.

What should I order if I only have thirty minutes?

Mezza Platter and shawarma wraps. Both come out fast. Skip the charcoal grills and the Testi Kebab, which need time to cook properly.

Full menu is on the menu page, or browse the complete collection if you would rather order delivery and watch the race from a sofa. No judgement. The sofa has better replays.

See you after the chequered flag.
